Amblycorypha oblongifolia is found in southern Canada (Ontario and Quebec), and throughout the eastern and midwestern United States; absent from Georgia and Peninsular Florida. It inhabits the understory of deciduous forests, and also tallgrass prairies, and thickets, including hedgerows. Usually leaf green, with some brown posterior of the pronotum; uniformly pink, tan, orange, or yellow individuals also occur, albeit rarely. 42-52 mm in size. Most common between late June and mid-August.
